Instructions for use
- Before every use, immerse the pot and lid in cold water for 10 minutes (not necessary
for glazed parts). If you merely have little time - just rinse briefly.
- Place the prepared ingredients into the pot without preliminay greasing and place the closed pot into the cold oven. At 225° to 250° C (375° F) naturally generated steam will do the cooking for you.
- During cooking, only add hot or warm liquid to the hot clay baker.
- Whenever your roast is ready, simply remove the Schlemmertopf from the oven and place it on the table (avoid cold surface by placing on a mat).
- Never put it onto a hotplate or over an open fire.
- To clean it use hot water, a small amount of detergent and a brush.
