“In 2016, I started my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at Scheurich. Since 2019, I have been working in financial accounting – my department of choice – and am responsible for accounts payable and fixed asset accounting. The training at Scheurich is really impressive, because a lot of emphasis is placed on independent work and the trainees are integrated into the normal working day right from the start. At times there are a lot of tasks that have to be done at the same time, but that is also part of the daily work routine and has helped me to structure my day well. The comprehensive knowledge of the colleagues helps a lot and even if you ask the same question several times, you don’t get dumped but supported. This is also true for further training: I am about to take the exam to become a state-certified business administrator and thanks to some special leave days I can prepare myself optimally for it.”
