Successful tree planting campaign

More than 100,000 trees planted

With the “1 pot = 1 tree” campaign, Scheurich and many plant fans have set an example since its launch in 2022: Already 101,565 trees (as of 28/02/2023) have been planted with the purchase of planters from the Groove, Groove+, Purista and Purista+ series by the non-profit organisation Eden Reforestation.

Scheurich takes this impressive number as an opportunity to say thank you to all customers and to once again draw attention to this sustainable campaign. Every additional tree counts! Those who say yes to the green lifestyle can continue to do good with the campaign “1 pot = 1 tree”, because trees and forests are the basis of life and essential for climate protection.

Every purchase of the Groove, Groove+, Purista and Purista+ series in the sizes 30 and 40 cm ensures that a tree is planted for reforestation and thus for the environment as well as for the future of our children. The indoor and outdoor vessels are made of Certuro plastic, which contains up to 98 percent recycled material. Certuro itself is 100 percent recyclable, comes with an 8-year guarantee and is Made in Germany. This is what responsible product design looks like today.

The online tree counter makes the action transparent. At www.scheurich.de/baum you can literally watch the trees grow and see your own contribution in black and white. With this in mind: Here’s to the next 100,000 trees!

Anniversary celebration at Scheurich

The ceramics manufacturer Scheurich honors its company anniversary celebrations, new retirees and graduates with the traditional celebration.

Peter Baumann, owner and advisory board member of Scheurich, emphasized in his speech the immense contribution of the motivated and committed employees to the success and continuity of the company. Without them, no company is strong. Many of the long-standing employees spent more time with their colleagues than with their families, which is why they also speak of the “Scheurich family,” said managing director Reinhard Birven. He thanked all guests for their dedication and good work performance and wished everyone all the best for their future years of work or retirement.

We are also particularly proud of the junior staff. These were honored for their successful graduation. They have “done everything right” and opted for dual training. This successful model is copied worldwide, i.a. in China. Following the apprenticeship, the former apprentices at Scheurich are now employed for an indefinite period and at their desired workplaces at Scheurich. The good coexistence of young and old is the basis for a positive working atmosphere, successful work and a secure future for the company.
